Purpose:
To "BOOST" the output capacity of lower wattage traffic controllers to achieve higher switching capacities/amperages. The controller only needs to provide the low current to power the relays, and the high capacity relays provide the 'brute force' switching capacity to drive the heavy loads. Also works with other triac based controllers on the market.
Has five 16-Amp relays with 120 VAC coils compatible with the outputs of the SYNC controllers. 5-input screw terminal to match the C R Y G W DW terminals of the SYNC-5 board. 5-screw isolated output terminal for the relay output contacts. Outputs screw terminals are rated 10 Amps at 120 VAC. Because the outputs are isolated from the power source (input terminals), outputs can be wired to switch low-voltage lighting (12-24 vdc)
